i was born in albuquerque, nm. i grew up in the southwest with a deep appreciation, and respect, for the earth and its people. i grew up in the foothills of the sandia & sangre de cristo mountains. from a very young age I knew that I wanted to live in california and moved to the north lake tahoe area.

i moved to north lake tahoe in august 1993 to attend college. i currently split my time between truckee, sf, nm, and baja. i’ve never really felt that any one place felt like home. it’s usually in the studios i find my home. in all of my travels, i have found the places i love and occupy those spaces with the people and communities i love.

while the physical practice (yoga asana) provides many benefits, i have found the internal connections to be pivotal. as a student of the practice, i never thought i would teach yoga, but i found that holding space for others is a powerful expression of my devotion to the whole.

whatever it takes. whatever moves me. i was born into a family of builders. i love creating and building; homes, businesses, projects, and communities. i’m currently working on three very exciting projects in the blockchain space related to fitness, health and wellness. i also founded alpenflow in truckee, ca and co-founded the castro room in san francisco, ca.

digital currencies, often referred to as crypto, are one component of blockchain technology. crypto is often used to speculate. i am not interested in speculation. i’m deeply focused on blockchain technologies, fascinated with tokenized economies and social behaviors within web3 communities.
